Chitragaatha is an innovative hybrid comic book publishing house and digital IP studio founded in 2022 by Pratik Bhattacharya and Anadi Abhilash, both alumni of NIT Durgapur. As members of the institute’s official dramatic club, they created original content and earned recognition at national-level competitions. Their shared passion for storytelling and comic books inspired them to revive that creative spirit and launch Chitragaatha, a platform dedicated to fresh, original, and experimental narratives.

Derived from the words “Chitra” (picture) and “Gaatha” (story), Chitragaatha is dedicated to telling compelling stories through visuals. We focus on creating new-age intellectual properties that move beyond mythology and traditional superheroes, bringing unique, contemporary, and experimental narratives to modern audiences.

By combining creative storytelling with technical expertise, we blend premium print publishing with innovative content creation to build original comic and entertainment IPs for the future.
